| John Kramer had them, so we have to have them too. - Responsibility. You are responsible of your own actions, and I need you to think before doing. If any case you are not sure if you're doing the right thing, don't do it at all or ask for help. Asking for guidance is never a bad thing. For help, you can go to FAQ, and if you don't find help from there, ask in Problem Center, also known as Help Center. Remember to read the rules in there, too. - It is said in the Terms of Service of Forumotion, that | Quote: | | Forums that does welcome or promote warez, piracy, hacking, cracking, spamming, attacks against networks or servers, pornography, racial hatred, crimes against humanity, inappropriate activities on the servers, or any other actions which violate any applicable laws, aren't allowed. |
So if you want to brag about finding a place where you can download Saw illegally, please find another way of doing that than posting it on the forum, or don't do it at all.
I need to make it clear.
| Quote: | | Any forum which contains texts, links, pictures, animations, videos or any other content recognized as illegal will be deleted without notice or warning. |
I also want to point out in the Terms of Service, that pornography is not allowed either. So I'm asking from you, dear users, do not post fanfiction word-by-word on the forum, post only the link where the story can be found.
- Use of language. Swearing is fun. I know it is. And it's one of those habits that are hard to get rid of. But I have to remind you, that not everyone likes swearing. I will be censoring swearwords soon, and when it's done, your text would look pretty much like this: I ***** those ******* if I *** that **** and then *** ***** *****! Yeah! Doesn't it look pretty? No.
Even though you might be used to swear all the time, it is not allowed on this forum. So just to spare us from seeing stars, please cut the swearwords down and let's live like a happy community.
There will be more rules in the future if necessary, so keep checking these every once in a while.
Oh, and another thing... Forumotion, I'll be in touch with you soon. |

| I understand not liking vulgarities, but it happens. Not saying I cuss like a sailor or anything, but hear me out.
I was considering posting my fictions here...but profanity is used in both in order to keep it realistic. Let's face it. Saw is a mature film, with mature content. Would it really be so bad to NOT censor words? |

Maybe not for you, maybe not for me, but it is also said in the Terms of Service of Forumotion.com that any content of the forums shouldn't be harmful for anyone in any way. If there are any young ones on the site, even visiting it, it's my responsibility to not cause any harm. I know that Saw is not a kids' movie, and any kids aren't allowed to even visit Saw sites, but these things happen. If something happens and the parents of those children will report to Forumotion, the blaming finger will be on me, and I might get into real trouble.
In my opinion, in fanfiction it's allowed, because I know that it's hard to make it realistic without using the character's typical features. I won't be censoring the words. The site is still young, and I actually don't know what to do with this problem. That's why I asked to give the link to the fanfictions instead of the whole text in the first place. If you don't have the fanfics on the Internet (like in Fanfiction.net), and you want to show us your fic, you can go ahead and post it here. I'll hide the topic from guests, and things should be fine.
I hope that wasn't too messy. I'm not an almighty, I'm growing with this site as well. I'm doing my best, though. Thanks for asking.
EDIT: Also, I want to point out again that pornography is not allowed. Forumotion will delete the forum if they find any, so I'm asking for the users to be very careful. |

| No problem; not expecting you to work miracles. I tend to find it easier to post the fiction because it keeps users from having to leave your site in order to read them...of course this is just me and this is not my forum. I like the idea of finding a way to filter the fics, because frankly I haven't seen a Saw fic that was appropriate for a young audience anyway. |
